The school is located in the unique and central area, close to the Government House in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State. The Premises of the school is serene with tight security. The school building is spacious, with modern architectural design built to international standards with roomy, air-conditioned classrooms that have a child to a desk. Apex Academy has constant power supply with a standby generator of 3.5KVA sound proof. We have well-trained security personnel from recognized security firms. the school is fenced round and painted beautifully for classroom activities. The school is a christian school, borne out of the desire to train pupils and students that will better our society and be beneficial to the parents/guardians, the children themselves and to God Almighty. In about a year of the school's existence, it was able to gain government approval. The school is also affiliated to schools in Malaysia, The United Kingdom, South Africa and the United States.

Apex Academy was founded on September 10th, 2012 with 17 academic and non-academic staff. That year, the school admitted 120 students, which was quite a remarkable achievement for a private school. Due to the amazing physical and internal structures put in place by the school, in less than 12months, Apex Academy gained Government Approval. In a very short while from then, the school was accredited as a center for external examinations (State, National and International). Today the number of staff and students has increased in leaps and bounds due to the abundant testimonies from people who have come in contact with us. We pride our-self as the best in Bayelsa and its environs and one of the best in Africa. This is largely due to the fact that we render a holistic education.
