About Us

Ajalogun Memorial School was birthed from the rising need for an ideal school in its immediate environment and the larger society (As shown in the mission statement) over twenty years ago but has since metamorphosized into an unimaginable edifice that can by any standard compete globally.

Herein, we cater to ensuring academic excellence but also concertedly work towards producing a total child that is not just academically sound but also morally and socially upright. A dynamic child in all ramifications that can stand in any challenging situation. We run a co-curricular educational system that embraces a harmonized curriculum using the conventional and Montessori system of Education.

And with seasoned teachers/Instructors that has been tested and tried handling within a very conducive learning environment graded ‘A’ by the Lagos State Government (Ministry of Education) Quality Assurance team. Year in and out we churn out pupils and students with excellent grades.

History

Ajalogun Memorial Nursery and primary school was established in September, 1994 to provide qualitative education at affordable fees to the teaming population of our immediate environment and the larger society.

In furtherance of the vision to establish Ajalogun Memorial Nursery and Primary school, the college was established on the 3rd of September, 2005 to provide room and continuation of qualitative education in Junior Secondary School and Senior Secondary School.

The concept behind the college is to provide a level playing ground for secondary education for the immediate graduate of the Nursery and Primary school and remotely for other students of our environment.

The founder, Pastor Ajalogun Oluremi Fatai is a trained teacher and educational administrator. He started teaching way back in 1977 when he would bring little kids together for home lesson at 42, Oriwu road (Oluwasogo house) Ikorodu.

Pastor Oluremi Fatai Ajalogun’s passion for qualitative education brought about the establishment of the school in 1994 and the school was named after his father Mr Ajalogun (Ajalogun-Legbe meaning Ologbon eniyan ni n jalogun ‘legbe, ‘a wise man who approaches an issue with high level of diplomacy’ A name given to his grandfathers for their roles in community development).

The school was established with the belief to help develop the society and contribute ones quota towards the educational development of Ikorodu and Lagos state and that has been the driven force behind the continuous development of the school.

Since the inception of the school in 1994, its quality of education has increased tremendously. The pupils/students are being moulded morally in a conducive atmosphere for learning.

With the help of God, the school has in place; qualified, experience, seasoned and industrious educationists. There is no doubt parents enrol due to the performance of the school.

The vision of the school is poised toward creating a total human being who is morally and academically refined and would be able to compete favourably with his or her peers in facing the challenges of the future.
