A Brief History of Christower International Schools   The Metamorphosis The school commenced operation on 23rd September, 2003, with 91 pupils and 9 students at no 1 Adebayo Abe Crescent with Dr Akin Ilupeju as the first administrative head and was assisted by Mr. Abolarin who served as the vice principal of the school, and Mrs. Oluremi John (nee Adebayo) served as the clerk with five other members of the teaching staff. In September 2004, Mr. Ade Arikawe became the head of the school. He was ably assisted by Mr. Kola Abolarin who till date is the Vice Principal. It was later agreed that the secondary school should be separated from the primary school. Therefore on July, 2005, Mr. Rapheal Akomolafe came on board to head the secondary school while Mr. Ade Arikawe was he appointed as headmaster of the primary school. In 2007, the secondary school section relocated to its permanent site at 14/16 Agboola Street Ibafo with 48 classrooms. The school then had in place the Chemistry, Physics and Biology laboratories for the senior secondary while the junior secondary had computer, music, agric/ home economics laboratories. The Nursery / primary school has its own location along Sefu Ota road in 2009, having 24 classrooms and the girls hostel in the same compound. Mr. Stanley Oluwayomi became the principal of the school in 2007 while Mrs. Bukola Ajisafe was the Headmistress of primary school between August 2007 to October 2008. From 2008 till date, Mrs. Olasehinde has been the Headmistress of Nursery and Primary School. In 2008, Mr. Emmanuel Akomolafe joined the institution as Development Manager. One of the programmes he introduced was the Term Retreat for the students which still continues till date. Mr. Babatunde Afolabi became the principal of the secondary school in February 2010 while Mr. S. Oluwayomi was appointed as the Head of Schools for Nursery / Primary and Secondary Schools till date.
