Admission to Pre Nursery (Toddlers & Playgroup)
Admission to the Pre-Nursery is determined by age and through an assessment of the applicant. Applicants must be between the ages 1 + and 3years old.
Admission to Nursery
Admission to Nursery is determined by the age and through an assessment of the applicant’s readiness for the class curriculum.
Applicants must be between 3 and 5years.
Admission to Grade 1
Admission to first grade is determined by age, readiness and ESL admissions assessment.
Applicants must be 5 and 6years
Admission to Grades 2 - 6
Admission to the grades 2 to 6 is based on previous school records and ESL admissions assessment results. ESL has the right to place pupils in appropriate grade based on previous academic records, admissions assessment results and age.
Admission to Junior Secondary school
Admission to Edidot College in JS 1 to JS3 is based on previous school records and Edidot college entrance examination results. Age between 9 and 13
Students who have attended a secondary school with a similar curriculum will generally be placed in a higher class given successful completion of the last class and successful completion of ESL entrance assessment.
Tests in some subject areas such as Mathematics, English and General Studies will be conducted for all applicants into the first year of college.
Admission to Senior Secondary School
Senior School students in SS1 to SS3 must have successfully completed the National Junior School certification exam, demonstrate proficiency in core subjects as applicable to the faculty of interest ( Science, Social Sciences or Arts) and passed the ESL entrance assessment.
Age between 14 and 17

On receipt of completed application form and supporting documents, the admissions office will review and contact you if any information is required. We however ask that all application forms are completely filled with accurate and clear information.
The Admissions office will notify you on the outcome of the application within 48 working hours.
An applicant will be called in for an assessment as determined by the grade entrance requirements. Content of entrance examination is dependent on the grade into which the applicant has applied.
Entrance examination into the ESL Junior school (nursery and primary) may include test on basic skills, writing, vocabulary and arithmetic.Entrance examination into ESL College may include test on English, Mathematics and General Studies for first year applicants. Applicants into other levels will be tested on core subjects (Mathematics, English, Business or Science related subjects).
Students are expected to perform at average (65%) or above average in order to be granted admission
