The vision of the founders is developing Muslim children into erudite scholars grounded in all spheres of knowledge and capable of leading the world in the light of the Qur’an and Sunnah.
Quality education that qualifies our scholars for admission anywhere in the world, and a broad understanding of Islam and other faiths, as well as proficiency in International languages like Arabic, English and French languages are part of what we offer.
Our educational system is practical-based and we place importance to Islamic moral ethics, while not overlooking international standards and best practices. This is ultimately geared towards them pursuing a career in life without losing focus of earning the pleasure of Allah.
At I-Scholars International Academy we are striving to develop a holistic approach to education and tarbiyyah for our children. We aim for excellence in the moral, educational and professional dimensions of our school and strive to:
- develop a professional and well-run school;
- provide a balanced and comprehensive curriculum drawing on Islamic knowledge and incorporating the National Curriculum;
- promote moral and academic excellence, whilst developing children’s spiritual needs, so that they are better equipped to meet the challenges and responsibilities of adult life;
- equip every child with the necessary skills and experiences to contribute towards the betterment of their communities and our society as a whole;
- encourage and promote good behaviour, courtesy and discipline in children in every aspect of the school’s activities;
- foster the invaluable Muslim character, as epitomised by the Prophet Muhammad, (SAW), in the growing personalities of our children; teach respect towards all members of society and impart knowledge about their beliefs and customs, recognizing the great number of values and aspirations we have in common.

Children are admitted into our Nursery (English or Arabic (Darul Huda)) and Primary classes after a capability assessment to ensure appropriate placement. The school recognizes Pre-nursery to Grade three class as the playing stage covering the first seven years, then grade four to Junior Secondary Classes as the learning stage covering the next seven years and finally Senior Secondary Classes and Post College in shaa Allah as the guiding stage.
The Parents/Guardians can make enquiries in the school premises, where admission forms are obtainable. On submission of the form, an assessment date is fixed, then an evaluation (written test and oral interview) is done to determine appropriate class placement. After a successful grant of admission and validation of the admission within the stipulated period, the Parents Information Pack is then given. Visits and Open House are held periodically for prospective parents.
I Scholars International Academy is one of the foremost Islamic faith-based schools in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja. It was established in 2006, as an experiment of a unique system of education. The Academy is formally registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission and commenced services to the public for its Creche, Pre Nursery(1&2) and Nursery(1&2) in September 2007, with about 11 scholars. It has then progressed to have its Primary classes (Grades1 to 6) in 2009 and earned its accreditation to run a primary and secondary school in 2010. Over the years, the Academy has progressed in its goal for quality education and will be graduating its first set of Senior Secondary School Scholars by year 2018, in shaa Allaah.
We offer children the opportunity to learn through play in a stimulating and nurturing environment, which in turn gives the parents the opportunity to work or train.
Today the school now has a secondary with boarding facility to cater for students. The school’s operations and facilities are gender-based to avoid unnecessary free mixing of genders to promote morality and sense of honor and bashfulness in our scholars.
