The School named JOSABIG was established in September 7th 1997 as Josabig Intensive Nursery and Primary School at No. 6, Adetunji Street, Idi – Oro, Ekotedo, Ibadan with nine(9) pupils and later moved to NW4/254 Akisanmi Street Idi – Oro Ekotedo, Ibadan for lack of space in the former place. The School got the Nursery approval and primary upgrading from the Ministry of Education, Oyo State in the year 2000 and 2001 respectively. JOSABIG INTENSIVE NURSERY AND PRIMARY SCHOOL has since become a household name in the ancient city of Ibadan and has been growing from strength to strength.

In the year 2004 the annex of the school was opened at Alalubosa Area, Off New Ife Road, behind Nigeria Brewery P c. Ibadan. As a result of numerical growth of the school and to decongest the classrooms, at the headquarters’ school at Akinsanmi Street Idi – Oro, Ekotedo, Ibadan, a decision was taken by the management to establish another branch in the neighborhood to take care of pupils from that area. This decision led to the establishment of another annex of the school at Amumeji Area, Abebi Ibadan in 2005. Furthermore, due to pressures from parents of pupils of the nursery and primary school in accordance with the vision of the school’s Proprietor, JOSABIG HIGH SCHOOL was established in September 2008 at Plot 1, Block V. TaiwoAlabi Layout, Okoro, Oke – Itunu, Ibadan and was approved in December 2008 same year. The recognition inspection was conducted by both WAEC and NECO and the school was equally approved by these two examination bodies to sit for Senior Secondary Certificate of education examination organize by both bodies with effect from 2013. JOSABIG HIGH SCHOOL has produced students in higher institutions across the country and outside the country Having completed a two story building of twenty-four(24) classrooms, two offices, a Computer Laboratory adjacent to the above address of Josabig Intensive Nursery and Primary School Ekotedo (Headquarter) has since moved the nursery and primary school of the headquarters to the present building in September 2011. The youngest annex (Nursery and Primary) of the school was established the year 2016, at No1,kolawole street,okoro, oke-itunu Ibadan. FACILITIES Josabig Group of Schools campus is divided into two main areas; the school compound and the residential compound (Hostel).  The school is located in a conducive environment for learning. Apart from the well ventilated classrooms for conducive learning. The school also has 3 different science laboratories to facilitate learning i.e. Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Agricultural laboratory and a well-equipped computer laboratory/room at both Primary and Secondary level of the School to facilitates the teaching of Information Communication Technology (ICT) in the school.
