About Us

Kids’ Court Nursery School is a child-centered nursery for students between the ages of 3 months and 5 ½ years. The school is housed in a spacious child-friendly environment with ample room for our students and is divided into three sections;

  • Infant Centre (3months-18months), 
  • Toddler Classes (18months- 3years) and the  
  • Nursery classes (3 years- 6years).

We know just how vital early years education is to directing children on a trajectory of growth all through their academic life. This is why at Kids’ Court School, we spare no cost to ensure that our students are given the best care and introduced to learning through fun, exciting, and age-appropriate activities.  

The School provides the best Early Childhood Education based on the Montessori Teaching Method, which helps young children develop within themselves an excellent firm foundation for future learning.

Admission Requirements

The Admissions process is quick and easy.

Forms are available at the school after due consultation with our Administrative Team. You will be taken on a on tour of the facility after that.  Forms can also be downloaded on our website.

Children seeking admission into Nursery 1 and 2 classes will undergo a mini informal assessment to ascertain their readiness for learning.

Admission Procedures
  1. The application form will be procured if the parent has decided to enroll his/her ward at Kids’ Court School.
  2. The form should be filled and returned with: 4 recent passport photographs, A copy of the child’s birth certificate, Last school report, and transfer papers (where applicable). At this point, a date is set for the entrance exam.
  3. Entrance exam and evaluation. This is for applicants seeking admission into the Primary classes
  4. If the student passes the exam, an invitation for the parent interview is sent to the applicant’s family
  5. Parents’ Interview. Meeting of the school’s senior staff with the parents. Here the parents are informed of the applicant’s performance on the examination and the proper class placement.
  6. Payment of Joining and Development fees. After a successful interview, the applicant is offered admission in the school. The parents are then required to register the child by paying the Joining and Development fees.
  7. At registration the applicant receives the registration packet which includes: Enrollment Agreement form, Medical form, Parent commitment form, Child’s ID CARD/ PICK UP PERMIT Parent Handbook.
History

Kids' Court School was established in June 2008 as the brainchild of Barrister and Dr. Mrs. Ogundere. After a year of planning and organization, the school opened its doors to provide Montessori education for children within the ages of 3 months to 6 years in June 2009 at 56, Modupe Johnson crescent, off Adeniran Ogunsanya Surulere with a summer school program. The school is duly recognized with the approval to operate as an educational instituition by both the Federal Ministry of Education and the Lagos State Ministry of Education. Starting the first session of Nursery School in September 2009 were 22 children and 6 members of staff and to the glory of God, the numbers have continued to increase. The School’s graduating sets of nursery children have moved on to very good primary schools home and abroad. We continue to be very proud of their achievements.
