Malizzay Private School was established in July 2004 with 12 pupils and 8 teachers and a formidable management team of Mr&Mrs Alaka. The necessicity for establishing the school was based on the lack of reliable and dependable school to cater for the fast growing population of Awoyaya community. The need to bring modern schooling to the environs was well appreciated and embraced by the community. Malizzay is a Learner focused school meaning we are particular about the kind of learning given to the pupils, The schools sets very high learning standard and ensures this is met by her able and amiable teachers. In spite of our high standard our fees are stable compared to what is obtainable in neighboring schools. The success story of the school can be attributed to the hiring of qualified and experienced staff. The school also engages in mentoring classes which has helped over the years on the culture, nature and attitude of the students and learners alike. The achievement record of the school is worthy of emulation. The 1st set of JSS 3 learners who wrote the Junior WACE/NECO had 100% pass results. While the school is majorly about the attainment of academic excellence, we also excel in extramural activities like excursion, Inter-house sport, Inter school debate, indoor and outdoor educational games and competitions within the state and National event. The school has received many awards such as Nobel Laurel and Sport Awards from schools competition. Our school has visited many places for excursion such as Silverbird Galleria, The Palms, Shoprite, La-Campaign Tropicana, Olumo Rock, Abeokuta, Nestle Production factory, Ishagamu, The woodlife animal field, Badagry Slavery point to mention a few.
