Early childhood worldwide is regarded as the most important stage in the formation of a child’s brain hence it is identified as the “Sensitive period”. What he learns or does not affects his person; and what has been learnt is most difficult to unlearn, as such the need to purposefully nurture the early years of a child is increasingly becoming inevitable. VISION Our vision at Mustard’ville is to help each child grow in a caring and stimulating environment that nurtures and develops a confident and competent learner, thus enable the attainment of his full potentials at his own pace. Play at early childhood cannot be underestimated. Research has proved that play is the best stimulus for the brain development. We have carefully provided a play based learning environment which stimulates discovery, creativity, imagination, bonding, co-operation, conflict resolution, observation, exploration, emotional stability, communication, expansion of vocabulary and independent thinking. OUR VALUES We do a blend of the British National Curriculum (key stage 1) and Montessori. Emphasis shall be placed on Communication, Social, Personal, Emotional development, Numeracy, Language and Literacy, Understanding of the World, Creative and Physical development. This structured curriculum enables children learn actively through a range of hands-on activities that gingers exploration and observation that births conclusive deductions from their personal experiences within a safe range and secured environment. We open from 6:30am to 7pm from Mondays- Fridays except on national public holidays and Christmas break.
