Peakfield Academy was founded in September 2018. Situated at Fwavwei Club Junction, Rayfield, Jos South, the school started with an initial enrolment of 105 pupils drawn from various backgrounds within the Jos municipality and beyond. The school is built to cater for pupils from all walks of life irrespective of their nationality, sex or religious background. It is a comprehensive academy that caters for both boys and girls from the pre-school years of Crèche, to Nursery and Primary respectively. The school can boast of a conducive environment equipped with up-to-date state of the arts facilities that enhance teaching and learning. These include well ventilated and decorated classrooms; a big school auditorium for concerts, talk shows and official ceremonies; adequate furnishing for children of all ages; a generous display of appropriate teaching and learning resources including white boards; A well-equipped ICT laboratory with desktops and laptops; a big playground fitted with various children’s outdoor games, and comprising a football field, basketball court and a mini soccer pitch.
