Praiseville School is a co-educational full primary school set in extensive and beautiful grounds in Lagos. The school has chosen to maintain its existing population of about 550 pupils between the ages of 2-10 and has a staff-student ratio of 9/1 to allow for optimum learning and to ensure each child is known. Academic standards are a key priority as we believe in educating the whole child, we draw out and develop the inherent qualities, talent and potential in each. The school is committed to and reflects academic excellence and a well rounded education. Praise Ville was established in January 1989 by the Praise Ville Educational Trust Council. A registered non-profit sharing organisation. The body is composed of members from varied professions who share a common passion for a 21st Century Nigeria with an enviable and competitive standard of education. Academic attainment and Leadership are the cornerstones of our purpose but are not exclusive. Our mission therefore is committed to and reflects both academic excellence and a well rounded education. Our Curricullum Our rich cross-curricular is based on the Nigerian/British curriculum, and also included is the international primary curriculum. This promoted exciting topics based on learning that has a global understanding and relevance to the children. It helps children explore and understand concepts from different subject perspectives without the usual teaching boundaries.
