Rainbow School International is an International Kindergarten and Daycare that follows the British National Curriculum. At Rainbow, we are cosmopolitan and diverse. We have over 7 nationalities and cultures represented and very interesting group of people. Whilst recognizing and enjoying the diverse Cultures, Fashions, Foods and Festivals, we embrace the full meaning of internationalism as we emphasize the meaning of positivity, inclusivity and tolerance. Through this our children learn to respect and appreciate the differences between our many cultures, traditions and beliefs. We regularly have events that celebrate families of our community such as Diwali, Christmas and other traditional festivals. We hold International/Cultural Days, Family Picnics, and special assemblies. Through assemblies and activities with themes such as World Book Day and World Environment Day amongst many others we ensure all our community are respectful of each others’ beliefs and understandings. Custom Food We require parents to bring food from home for their children and encourage healthy food, drinks and vegetables. No soda, chocolates and candy. We appreciate custom food and we encourage it. That's why we are international. Music Lesson We sing songs and Nursery rhymes accompanied with piano every Tuesday and Friday. Children love listening or singing along to music. We do create a rich musical environment for the children to develop musical skills, this engages and calms them as well. Physical Education Rainbow has ample space and playground for the children to run around and play on equipment. Physical education assist and improves mental and emotional development in children. The earlier we start the better for children to start thinking critically Bus Service Kindercare offers school transport at affordable rates. All these are dependent on the distance and are divided into zones. It is safe and stress free ride in the company of other children driven by highly trained drivers Excursions Children learn using their senses. They need a range of visual and sensory experiences to inspire and stimulate their creative potential. The environment is flexible enough to expose children to new experiences, excursions being one of them. Language Rainbow Kinder being an international daycare, some children come using English as a second language. (ESL). Teachers therefore provide children with higher levels of language stimulation during their first month.
