The idea of setting up Seat of Wisdom Model School began on a clean slate.  But for half a hectare piece of land, the proprietors used their professional experience as both surveyor and philanthropists with knowledge in the educational sector owing to their work experience in setting up the school that would go forth to become voted the best school in Warri. In less than three years into take-off, Seat of Wisdom was the school to beat in Delta State. With humble beginnings from just 44 students when the Nursery and primary school arm came into existence on September 8th 1998 now the three arms of SOWMS has total staff strength of circa sixty five employees and a student population of a thousand pupils.  With the highly motivated, choice-drawn labour force, Seat of Wisdom went to town and became all-conquering. In as many years as it sat for the National Common Entrance Examination SOWMS have achieved record breaking results. Also recently we are representing Delta State in the National Mathematics competition.  Our students have broken records and won scholarships into choice colleges and universities both at home and abroad.  The success story can go on but suffice to say succinctly that the Seat of Wisdom Model Schools project is an oasis in the desert for those seeking excellence in education.
