Spring Schools Okota, Lagos is a Co- educational institution which comprises Spring Children’s School for the Reception, Nursery, and Primary section and Value Spring College for the Secondary section. It is an institution founded on solid ideals of turning out qualitative products. The school was established in 1993. The great journey began at 22, Mushibolaji Street, Ago, Okota, with just seven pupils and three staff, which include the proprietress Mrs. B.N Ezeonyeka. Twenty five years on, SPRING SCHOOLS has grown to become one of the foremost schools in Lagos known for her excellence in both internal and external examinations and competitions. The staff strength of spring schools is above sixty. This is part of our resolve in springing up excellence in our students. The school has awesome facilities such as laboratories, auditorium, halls, well equipped library, sports complex, standard class rooms etc. Our curriculum is all encompassing. It is designed in line with the educational policies of both the Lagos State government and the Federal Government of Nigeria. It is blended to conform with the British, Montessori and Nigeria curriculums so as to enable the school cover all the areas of learning. The school’s academic calendar is classified into three per session, beginning from September to July. There is a special annual summer program that feature skills acquisition, excursions and practical teachings. One day per term is dedicated for parents to assess their children’s academic progress and discuss their challenges with their respective teachers. This is known as Open Day. A periodic PTA meeting is equally inculcated into the academic calendar. The school is fully approved by the ministry of education and the relevant examination bodies such as the West African Examination Council, The National Examination Council Etc. Special classes are held for students who wish to study abroad to enable them pass the relevant examinations.
