About Us

Triumph College was established on 12th September, 2008 by Mr Moses Oluyemi Babatunde and Mrs Rachael Abiodun Babatunde. The college is located at Km 4, Beside NNPC Filling Station, New Ife Road, Alakia, Ibadan. 
The school started academic activities in earnest on September 12, 2008 with a handful of students. However, today the population has grown in geometric progression. It is a co-educational institution that offers full complement of courses in Science, Arts, Vocational and Commercial subjects, that cover the State Ministry of Education,  NECO and WAEC syllabi for BECE and SSCE/GCE O'Level.

Admission Requirements


For a students to be admitted to the school, he/she has to sit a compulsory written  Entrance Examination (EE) and attend an oral interview/aptitude test which are conducted in batches between May and August of each year in readiness for the Academic work of the first term of the new session, that usually begins in September. Furthermore, students are admitted to JSS1, JSS2, SS1 and SS2  

Admission - seeking into the college is in two categories; namely 

  1. JSS One Entrants' Admission and 
  2. 2. Transfer Students' Admission 


  • JSS One Entrants' Admission Candidate seeking admission into JSS1 must fulfil the following  conditions; 
  1. Must not be less than 10years of age as at the time  of entry, except if the candidate is exceptionally brilliant, scoring above 50% in the Entrance Examination and showing prodigious promises in the Aptitude Test/Oral Interview. 
  2. Must have completed the primary school education with obvious evidence. 
  3. Must purchase the school's admission form which shall be filled and submitted back to the  school. 
  4. Must sit the compulsory Entrance Examination (EE) and pass it. 
  5. Such a candidate must attend the Admission Oral Interview (AOI) and pass it. 
  6. Should collect the results of the Entrance Examination (EE) and Admission Oral Interview (AOI). 
  7. Should pay all the required fees. Any candidate that fails to comply with this requirement may forfeit his/her admission to those on the waiting list.     

 Students that wish to transfer from other schools to the college must fulfil the following; 

  1. Purchase Admission form, fill it and submit it back to the school. 
  2. Sit the appropriate Aptitude Test (AT) and pass it. 
  3. Having passed the AT they should come for the Admission Oral Interview (AOI). 
  4. Must show evidence of having completed the previous class in their previous schools (photocopies of results of previous exams from their former schools or of JSCE for prospective SS One students, are required). 
  5. Must come with a transfer certificate. 
  6. Successful candidates should collect their admission letter and adhere to conditions attached to the offer of the admission. 
  7. Pay the specified fees as stated in the admission letter.
