The Nigerian National Curriculum for Primary Schools is used for these classes. However here at Bookman British Academy, additional emergent global issues and information are used to enhance the curriculum. Children are given a lot of opportunities to learn, think and reason. Each child is viewed as a unique person with individual pattern and timing of growth. During the early years of the elementary education, we seek to ensure the pupils receive optimum tuition in order to maximize attainment and enhance their general development. We also offer the right challenges with a well supervised and caring environment to enhance self-esteem and confidence.

Founded in 1999, with the enrolment of twenty two (22) students, a principal and nine teachers, Bookman British Academy has continued to be blessed with seasoned dedicated, disciplined, industrious and experienced administrators, supported by highly trained, experienced and committed teach­ing and non-teaching staff. The school owes the glory of the wealth of enviable reputation it has amassed over the years to the professional meritorious services of these teaching and non-teaching staff. At this point, it is very imperative to appreciate some important personalities that positioned the institution's milestones through meritorious services. Their dedication and selfless service nurtured and protected the institution. Bookman British Academy, as long it leaves, must always recognize and extol the humility of service of the many matrons, nurses, volunteer doctors, caterers and cooks, office hands, drivers, gardeners and security men who, with quiet faith, and often unsung praise, kept the wheels of the school turning through glorious years of existence of the school. The proprietor of the school, Dr. M.O. Ogunjimi, the Parent/Teachers Association, the Old Students Association, the neighboring Local Govern­ments, the Lagos State Government,corporate bodies, friends and well-wishers of Bookman British Academy, and es­pecially the esteemed parents of our dear students have been the great pillars of support and strength.
