divine vision international school

The entry-level class into our Secondary School is Year 7, and in the first three years, our students are introduced to more advanced studies in English, Mathematics, and Sciences. At the end of the three years, our students sit for the Checkpoint Examination. As one of the best secondary schools in Enugu and Nigeria, our students have to undergo the Checkpoint Examination, because it helps us to understand their strengths and weaknesses – in preparation for the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE), West African Examination Concile (WAEC) or Senior School Certifiate (SSC) exam. After the Checkpoint Examination, our students spend the next two years preparing for the IGCSE, WAEC, or SSCE exam. Therefore, by enrolling your child in our Secondary School, he or she will spend Six (6) years, building on the foundation set at the elementary level. At the end of Year 12, which is the final year of our Secondary School, your child will sit for the IGCSE, WAEC or SSCE exam.

History of divine vision international school

Since opening our doors in September 2017, we have welcomed hundreds of students creating a rich and exciting cultural mix of young people. This gives Divine Vision International School - Enugu a special international ambiance and a home for all. Divine Vision International School, Enugu is rooted in the local community. Our school 'Code of Conduct' ensures that all stakeholders, from support staff to parents are respected for their contribution. Our school is place where people work hard, achieve and become friends. We warmly invite you to join our thriving school community, to come with us on our exciting learning journey as we work towards our vision ` Excellence through Team Work, Success for All. The academic ethos is both challenging and demanding, but also supportive and friendly. We develop enquiring minds, self-motivation and innovation. The link between school and home is crucial; student achievement is inevitably a result of a team effort involving the student, school and parents. To assist in this process, we introduced a ‘Parental Engagement’ programme. Of course, reports and assessments are provided at regular intervals and there are ample opportunities for staff, students and parents to discuss progress and achievement.
